We still love our Horns. Every Saturday the family is always dressed in Hook'em Horns game day gear! NO one out here understands it, and we get so many STUPID questions. Austin, TX we miss you so very much!

The little ones in Preschool

The little ones now are in preschool!!! So I get two days a week all to my self! Mason is in the frog class and Aubree is in the butterfly class. The first week Mason got to take home the class "pet" a stuffed frog named Freddie! He was so cute with him. Freddie got to pick out the pile night movie and he got to sit at the breakfast table with us! Mason was sad to take him back! Aubree love going to her class because she gets skittles when she goes to the potty!!!!
They both get so excited to have a lunch box! It is the highlight of the day for them!

First Field Trip with Hudson

The North Charleston and American LaFrance Fire Museum and Educational Center





Hudson had his very first field trip with his Kindergarten class. We went to the Fire Museum and Educational Center. I got to be a chapernone!!! I enjoyed hanging out with Hudson and his friends! I also was able to get to know Hudson's teacher and the other mommys's more. I am so greatful for that! Miss. Witney, Hudson's teacher, is really a sweet lady with a BIG heart for the Lord and the kids just love her!
The museum is filled with one of a kind fire vehicles and antique fire equipment, which date back to the mid 1700's. It was so much fun. Hudson has been saying for a while that he would like to be a firefighter so he thought that this museum was super awesome!

Mason 4th birthday

Mason LOVES animals and dinosaurs! So we thought what a better to spend celebrating his birthday than to go to the zoo! SO we headed up north with some great friends and hit the zoo. Mason's fave this time was the zebras and snakes!!!! After the fun zoo trip we went and had dinner at Fudruckers! YUMMY!! We got home to late to eat birthday cake so we had dinosaur birthday cake for breakfast the next morning!!!!! Happy Birthday my Moose we love you so much!

Ready or Not Here He Goes!

The first day of kindergarten for Hudson was a bittersweet day. Hudson woke up so pumped up to get to school he was full of smiles. Mommy.... not so much. Matt took the day off so that he could be there for Hudson, but I think to be there mostly for me! So what did the big day look like for the big kindergarten?

One last hug goodbye and a kiss in his hand. Have a wonderful day Monkey, I'll see you soon, I said! I keep it together long enough to get to the car and then let it go. The sad- happy mix of feelings come all out leaving me empty and heart broken because of the fact he dose not need me anymore. Praying to God for peace and comfort, I remember that Hudson will always need me and that he still loves me. So now I need to wait to see him in the afternoon and count down the minutes to hear all about his exciting day!














So as I paced and look at the clock every other minute waiting to go get him, shedding some more tears here and there, he was having the time of his life making friends and learning!
Finally it was time to go get him. After waiting for an hour in the car rider line, I could see my little BIG kindergartner waiting for me to pick him up!




































Hudson hopped up in the truck and I asked him "How was it buddy"? Hudson answered... It was GREAT and flashed me a thumbs up and one BIG smile!!!!!! My teacher is a magician! I asked him what kinds of magic tricks did she do? Hudson said she didn't do any tricks! She loves math and numbers! Daddy said, you mean she's a Mathematician ??? Hudson answered, yeah what you just said daddy!!!!

The Lapann Wedding

On July 3, 2009 my sister and Frank got married!!!! He is filled with love for my sister and he is so SWEET to her! He brings so much joy to her life. Can't wait to see all the beautiful years of their love ahead!
The wedding was in Newport Beach, Ca right in sand. She was the most gorgeous bride I have ever seen. (Even if she looked like a hooker! LOL). The reception was at our Aunt Judy and Dave's home in Huntington Beach. It was all "done up" by our mom. She did a marvelous job, everything was decorated in green, black and white damask.So beautiful. Dave did all the cooking, and it was so amazing, very yummy. Then to close the wonderful day, we dance it away!!!! Like Stacy said "the family that dances together sticks together"...... And we are STUCK forever and ever now! To my family.... I am so sorry that I pole dance with a mop. I get carried away when I drink wine:).
