One last hug goodbye and a kiss in his hand. Have a wonderful day Monkey, I'll see you soon, I said! I keep it together long enough to get to the car and then let it go. The sad- happy mix of feelings come all out leaving me empty and heart broken because of the fact he dose not need me anymore. Praying to God for peace and comfort, I remember that Hudson will always need me and that he still loves me. So now I need to wait to see him in the afternoon and count down the minutes to hear all about his exciting day!
So as I paced and look at the clock every other minute waiting to go get him, shedding some more tears here and there, he was having the time of his life making friends and learning!
Finally it was time to go get him. After waiting for an hour in the car rider line, I could see my little BIG kindergartner waiting for me to pick him up!
Hudson hopped up in the truck and I asked him "How was it buddy"? Hudson answered... It was GREAT and flashed me a thumbs up and one BIG smile!!!!!! My teacher is a magician! I asked him what kinds of magic tricks did she do? Hudson said she didn't do any tricks! She loves math and numbers! Daddy said, you mean she's a Mathematician ??? Hudson answered, yeah what you just said daddy!!!!
