A night with the Riverdogs

The Charleston RiverDogs are a Minor League Baseball team based here in Charleston. Once a year they invite the Little League teams out to run the bases and hang out and watch the Riverdogs play. We had so much fun. Grammy, Kelly and Malia came out to watch the game with us!! Daddy got the kids corn dogs and cotton candy, so he was the hero of the night!! Malia can I have a bite?
Wow!!!

One Year in South Carolina

It has been one year since we moved out to South Carolina. God is so faithful to us. Before we moved we prayed that He would guide us and help us to find the right house and that He would bless us with friends. We have been blessed with wonderful and caring friends who have made us a part of their family and who would do anything for us. I am so thankful for the love and support that they give our kids. The kids love going to the beach, Aquarium, Children's museum and Mybias Japanese Steak House. The kids do miss Texas and they ask about everyone out there all the time. From Texas we miss the most: all our friends, Super Target, HEB, HEB's hot fresh bread, fajitas and salsa, Texas BBQ, Texas Mexican Food, and of course the Hook'em Horns!!
Here in South Carolina we enjoy going to beautiful downtown Charleston. The shopping and food are great! We love Magnolia's, it's the best southern food ever!! We also love a little dessert bar called Kaminski's. They have every yummy treat you can think of and they have great coffee. Downtown Charleston is on the ocean and there is so much history to explore. The old church and grave yards are amazing and are my favorite. The goal for the next year is to explore the plantations and go to Atlanta's zoo.

Saturday at the Ballpark

Hudson's T-ball is now in full swing! We had our first game this weekend and it was so much fun. Hudson is on the Purple Team and is number 8. He is also on the same team as his friend Matthew from school. He spent most of the time on the pitching mound, that is his fave spot. Uncle Jeff would be so proud:). Hudson did very well batting and got a home run!! Daddy got to help run the outfield and dugout. It was a proud day for daddy as well. He says Hudson is our retirement package!! Mammy, Mason, Aubree, Kelly, Frank, Malia and Abby came out to cheer Hudson too. After the game we went with Matthew's family for lunch at Cracker Barrel. Yummy-o! Can't wait for more Saturdays at the Summerville Ballpark.

Piggies in a Blanket

Thanks Auntie Judy for the cute and warm slippers!! The kids wear them all day, they love them. Aubree threw a fit because she couldn't wear them to church this morning!

A new MUST!!

Monkey Munch...................... Chex Cereal, chocolate, peanutbutter and powdered sugar!!! YUMMY. I have made three batches in four days!

A Perfect Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was so amazing. We went to church and we were filled with life, love, peace and grace. Our paster focused on grace and what a amazing gift it is. GRACE... Gods Riches at Christ Expense. Wow, our God is a loving God whose loyalty to His people is unwavering. He taught the book of Hosea, which I hadn't ever read. It is filled with nothing but grace for Hosea and his wife Gomer, it is very powerful message about AMAZING GRACE. Praise God for his love and grace.
We came home and let the afternoon games begin. We had our family Easter egg hunt in the backyard, it was a beautiful day, and then ate LOTs of candy!!! Then it was time for water war!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is now a family fave. Just for the record Matt Cheats..... We all had little water squirters and we were all having so much fun. Then Matt came out with a SUPER SOAKER and blasted who???? Well me of course. SO Unfair. I was soaked and all the kids felt sorry for me and tried to get Matt back. Well that back fired on them and then they got super soaked. Then we had three very unhappy kiddos and one mad momma.. So Matt be warned buddy. When you least expect it, its coming!!!I still love you babe.
After the water war and everyone changed we had a Frame little league baseball game. The boys had so much fun. They were trying to be like Mario Supper Sluggers and be very tricky with their batting skills. It was FUNNY and very creative!!!! To put a perfect ending to a wonderful day daddy made us a yummy Texas bbq dinner!! After dinner we just hung out outside playing and Matt let Aubree swing with him and she was falling asleep. What a fun filled day together. Thank you God for your son and my family. Happy Easter.

Great News for Mason

Mason had an allergy appointment last week and we got some good news..... his peanut allergy is clearing!!!!!!!! We are going back in a month for a peanut food challenge to make sure! It will be such a huge blessing for when he starts preschool next year not to have to worry about him getting sick!If it is clearing... mommas going to buy him every peanutbutter/peanut candy and have a FUN candy fest!!!!

Hudson's ready to impact our culture for Christ.

Last week we got Hudson all signed up for kindergarden. I always thought that this day would be so sad, but I was so excited for him. I took Hudson with me. We started the morning at Dunkin Donuts then headed on over his new school! When we walked up to the building he saw the gym his eyes got so BIG and he had a smile from ear to ear. My heart was filled with joy for him! He is just growing up so fast, and it is amazing. I just love that little man with the big heart.

Mission Statement of Hudson's kindergarden
Cathedral Academy partners with families to provide a quality academic, Biblically-based education to equip both parents and students to impact their culture for Christ.

The Vision Statement:
Cathedral Academy is a Christian school providing Biblically-based education so that future generations will know God's truth, remember His works, and not live by the world's philosophies.
I can't wait to see all the wonderful things God has in store for my children.

Aubree's New Ride!

After all this time of her brothers driving her around, she now has the driving skills down!!!! It is always "mines turn." Now that the weather is so nice we spend a lot of time outside. Hudson and Mason love to play baseball, golf and ride bikes! Finally being outside is FUN!!!!! This summer is going to be so much fun. Can't wait.

When we were at Disney World Aubree's baby was lost:(. So for a few days she was very sad. So sad. I went out on a baby mission to try to find her a replacement. I did find it, but it is a more updated one. She is much happier now. She knows that she is different, but it is still baby!
