The boys played basket ball for Cathedral and they had a wonderful season. Matt was the boys coach.Matt feels like he has had a calling to serve in Children's Sports Ministry, and I am so proud of him. He has a lot of patience and he is a very encouraging and positive coach.
When they announced Matt's name at the awards ceremony last night, Hudson smiled so big and said that's my daddy and he is MY coach!!!!! It was so sweet. Hudson's hero is without a doubt his daddy. Next the team was announced and Matt was the one to give them the medals. When Mason was called he RAN up with his hand up in the air. Mason was so excited and proud of his medal. Mason spent most of the season doing somersaults and spinning than playing basketball. But by the end of the season he has named the master stealer. He really came a long way and learned a lot.
When Hudson was called he ran straight to daddy for his medal and just stood up there holding and admiring his "gold medal" (just like the Olympics he said). Hudson came a long as well he is definitely the master at rebounds and he loves to shoot the ball. He is now counting down to soccer! Mason is counting down to Tee Ball. Sooo here we go again!!
